#28 Is Living Abroad Safe??!
Hi everyone and welcome back to The Move Abroad Podcast! Today is episode 28 of the Podcast, and it is our spooky Halloween special — I am talking about something that comes up more often than not. It can feel super scary and is one of the most common questions….safety while living abroad. Is it actually safe to live abroad? What is the difference from living solo vs. solo female travel safety?
From China, Tanzania. Mexico, Georgia, and even the USA, there are certain safety measures we all should of course consider (i.e. pick pocketers, etc). However, it is unfair to think that just because someone moves abroad, especially a woman, should consider it “unsafe” to live in that country. Listen now and you may be shocked by what you learn!
Here's what we talk about in today's episode:
- The concerns about me moving abroad and traveling solo, especially as a woman
- I actually felt MORE safe in China!
- What is the difference if I live solo vs. travel solo?
- You may be SHOCKED to learn which country has been the most unsafe that I lived in!
- Living abroad and traveling can actually be more safe!
Happy Halloween and I’ll see you next week, where we’re going to talk about something NOT political and intense!
